Ripley was a 22nd century Human Starfleet crewperson serving aboard the Federation starship USS Verdun in the 2160s. In 2163, Ripley survived the wreck of the Verdun and became one of the crewmembers who started a colony on Torgu-Va. The remainder of Ripley's life was spent on Torgu-Va, where Ripley was survived by a family, including a descendant who would serve in Torgu-Va's military defense in the 24th century.
