Riyadh is a city located in the Muslim Bloc state of Arabia on Earth. The city is located in the east central part of the country northeast of the city of Mecca.

During the opening days of the Third World War, the city was destroyed when a nuclear device was detonated over the city in the 2050s. (TOS TLE novel The Sundered).
