For the Federation Starfleet vessel, see: USS Robert E. Lee

The Robert E. Lee was an Andorian troop carrier, commissioned sometime in the 22nd or 23rd century. It was named after the 19th century Human general. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)

This novel states that the Andorians did not have a custom of naming starships prior to contact with Humans, and thus used Human names when they adopted the custom. This has been somewhat contradicted canonically in Star Trek: Enterprise.
