Robert Picard was the elder brother of Jean-Luc Picard, and the son of Maurice Picard and Yvette Gessard Picard.
Robert followed his father's view on life, and took over the Chateau Picard vineyard following his death. (TNG episode: "Family")
Tragically, Robert and his son Rene Picard was killed in a fire in 2371. (TNG movie, novelization & comic adaptation: Star Trek Generations)
