In the mirror universe, Robert Picard was a Terran vintner and the brother of Jean-Luc Picard. He was killed trying to defend his winery, Château Picard, against the occupying forces of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. He was buried under the winery grounds. He was survived by a wife and child, although Jean-Luc assumed they were killed or enslaved by the Alliance. By 2371, there was an ore processing plant on the former château grounds, but Picard was presumably still buried there. (TOS novel: The Sorrows of Empire)

In the Mirror Universe Trilogy written by William Shatner and Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens Robert Picard was assassinated by his brother, Jean-Luc.
