Commander Rolando Valentin was a Starfleet Special Operations commander.

In late 2379, he was part of the SFSO forces that were assigned to assist the USS Enterprise-E at Tezwa. After the security officers from that ship captured Tezwan General Gyero Minza, Valentin participated in his interrogation, taking a rotation at barking marching orders of a vulgar nature at the captured officer. The efforts were successful in getting a rise out of the Tezwan, but he continued to without critical intelligence. (TNG novel: A Time to Heal)
