The Colonial Organizational Committee was a body present within the Romulan Star Empire that handled construction matters as well as development of the colonies of the Romulans.
It had been formed under the directions of Admiral Taris after the destruction of Romulus during the Hobus star Crisis and the relocation of the capital to Rator III. In 2392, after the construction of the new capital city of Rihan where the meetings were held, the committee laid the groundwork for the new government which had been plagued with infighting and factionalism.
