Romulan Imperial Fleet uniforms were worn by individuals who served in the Romulan Imperial Fleet. In the early-24th century, the wearer's department or specialty was denoted by a particular color worn on the right side of the uniform, and their rank by stylized starburst insignia pinned to their collar. (TLE novel: Serpents Among the Ruins)

Mid 23rd centuryEdit

In the mid-to-late 2260s, the standard uniform consisted of a tunic made of a black and gold checkered fabric, with knee-length trousers in either black and red, or black and blue, a black undershirt, belt and boots. A matching colored sash was worn over the right shoulder. Females could also wear a mini-skirt instead of the trousers which was made of the same black and gold fabric as the tunic. The right side of the female's tunic would be in color, again either black and red, or black and blue. (TOS episodes: "Balance of Terror", "The Enterprise Incident")

Early 24th centuryEdit

In the early 2310s, the standard Imperial Fleet uniform was made of black and silver mesh-effect fabric, reminiscent of chain-mail. The color of the right sleeve and a sash worn on the right side of the uniform denoted the wearer's department or specialty. (TLE novel: Serpents Among the Ruins)
