Romulan Security

Romulan Security was an agency present within the Romulan Star Empire which was charged with security matters. It did face some internal political conflicts with the Tal Shiar. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Soul Epiphany)

When Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Commander Data infiltrated Romulus to locate Ambassador Spock, Romulan Security were reported to have been looking for the Starfleet officers. (TNG episode Unification)

By the time of the Watraii conflict, this agency was headed by Charvanek.

Presumably, it was a branch of the Office of Homeland Peace established in Vulcan's Soul Exodus
