In an alternate timeline, SC-4 was the personal shuttlecraft of Admiral Kathryn Janeway. Ten years after USS Voyager return to the Alpha Quadrant after 23 years in the Delta Quadrant, Admiral Janeway plotted to alter history, using SC-4 to bring the Voyager home via a Borg transwarp hub. The shuttlecraft traveled back in time to 2377, and the SC-4 was used by Admiral Janeway to infiltrate the Borg Unicomplex and deliver a neurolytic pathogen into the Borg Collective.
