Saed Squire was a male Starfleet officer in the 24th century. He attended Starfleet Academy in the early 2370s, with a double major in security and ancient galactic civilizations. At the Academy, he was one of the last students to take instruction from Admiral Owen Paris before he retired from teaching.

As of 2374, he had reached the rank of lieutenant, and was assigned as tactical officer of the cultural observation post on Coroticus III. That year, when the Federation abandoned Coroticus ahead of a Dominion invasion force, Squire was the last officer left on the surface, and when the USS Valletta came under Jem'Hadar attack, had to be left behind.

When Starfleet returned to Coroticus in 2376, the crew of the USS da Vinci were unable to find any remains or other trace of Squire. It was briefly believed that he might have been responsible for a series of recent murders amongst the Corotican people, but this was eventually discovered to be the work of a Vorta named Ushpallar. Squire was presumed killed in action. (SCE eBook: Fables of the Prime Directive)
