Sakrysta was a female Kriosian Starfleet engineer. Soon after transferring to the USS Enterprise-E in 2379 she was part of the Delta team under the command of Lieutenant Christine Vale which was sent to Tezwa's Nokalana Sea to destory the nadion-pulse cannon firebase located there underwater since she was deep-dive trained.

The first time that Christine Vale met Sakrysta, Vale mistook her for a Trill. (TNG: A Time to Kill)

Sakrysta was named for a member of the TrekBBS, where author David Mack participates in the Trek Literature forum.
