Salva was a star system in the Badlands, comprised of a G class star and eight planets. Additionally, it had an asteroid belt and sixteen moons.

The Starfleet shuttle Anaximenes and the Maquis vessel Liberté were attacked by Cardassian forces on the second moon of Salva IV, and pursued into the system's asteroid belt. (TNG eBook: Slings and Arrows: A Weary Life)
