Sam Andrews was a Starfleet security officer who served aboard the USS Endeavour, along with Michael Fuller, in 2244. Andrews was subsequently killed during the Endeavour's engagement with Klingon forces at the Battle of Donatu V.
When Fuller saw a vision of Lieutenant Eileen Caruso in 2267, he wondered if he might next see a vision of Andrews or several other friends and colleagues who died that day. (TOS novel: Demands of Honor)
