Commander Sandra "Sandy" Rhodes was a female Starfleet officer.

In 2370 she served as a security officer on the USS Enterprise-D under Lieutenant Worf with the rank of Lieutenant. One of her assignments was to escort Jason Vigo, a man believed to be Jean-Luc Picard's son, around the ship to protect him from a rogue Ferengi. (TNG episode: "Bloodlines")

By 2381, she had been promoted to Commander and assigned as the chief of security at Starbase 234. Early that year, the Borg Collective launched a brutal invasion of the Federation. Starbase 234 was one of five simultaneous attacks, and the base was unable to put up sufficient defenses. Before the base's destruction and their deaths, Sandra helped commanding officer Admiral Owen Paris transmit a subspace message to his son, Tom Paris. (ST - Destiny novel: Gods of Night)
