The Sarimun were a race presumably native to the Alpha or Beta Quadrants. They were a warlike race that did not possess the capacity for mercy. In the mid 24th century, the Sarimun attacked the Omearan race, and engaged in a long war which nearly destroyed the Omearan homeworld. The Sarimun were ultimately fought back by the Omearans.
