Doctor Sarina Kaur was a Human female. She was the head of the Chrysalis Project in India in the 1960s, and Khan Noonien Singh's surrogate mother. A student of Har Gobind Khorana, her work was largely responsible for the creation of Human Augments.

However, Chrysalis was destroyed thanks to the efforts of Gary Seven, who was genetically engineered himself, and his sidekick Roberta Lincoln when they set off a chain reaction in Chrysalis's nuclear reactor that destroyed the base and killed Kaur in the process.
