Sartak was a Vulcan male in who served as the JAG division commander at Starbase 32. In 2355, Captain Sartak convened a court martial against Captain Jean-Luc Picard regarding the loss of the Stargazer, which cleared Picard of all charges (TNG novel: The Buried Age)
