Saturn (Sol VI) is a class J gas giant in the Sol system. The sixth planet from the sun, the planet's most distinguishing characteristic are the planet's rings.

Colonel Shaun Geoffrey Christopher commanded the first manned mission to Saturn in the 21st century. (TOS episode: "Tomorrow is Yesterday") By the mid-21st century, Humans had established a colony on Titan, Saturn's largest moon. (ST novel: Federation)

The first Borg cube to visit Sector 001 passed by Saturn on its way to Earth. The USS Enterprise-D, which was pursuing the cube, passed by the planet a few minutes later. (TNG episode: "The Best of Both Worlds")
