Scotland was a traditional nation-state of the United Kingdom in Europe on Earth. It comprises the northern portion of the island of Great Britain. The inhabitants of this area are known as Scots.

Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln became involved in an incident off the coast of Scotland in 1972, in which Lincoln was nearly burnt alive inside a giant wicker effigy. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
