Sector Z-6 was a sector of space in the Iota Pavonis sector block of the Beta Quadrant.

Details and historyEdit

This sector contains several star systems and space stations. This area is located near the Beta Quadrant's border with the Alpha Quadrant, adjacent to the Tarod sector and the Bolarus sector. Sector Z-6 leads to a section of the Eridan Belt, an expanse of space located outside the space of the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire, in the direction of the galaxy's core. Sector Z-6 was the point where a Romulan bird-of-prey crossed the Federation-Romulan Neutral Zone in the year 2366. (TOS episode: "Balance of Terror")
