The Selek class was a Cardassian starship class in service in the early 24th century. In 2318, they were an older class of starship than the Galor-class. The class was equipped with small cutter vehicles and were known to have low ceilings compared to other Cardassian ships.
The Selek class starship Kornaire was the first ship to make official first contact between the Cardassians and Bajorans. By 2323, kits were available on Bajor that could be used to make a model of a Selek class starship from paper and glue. (TN novel: Day of the Vipers)
