Selik was a male Vulcan in the 21st century, and was the astrocartographer under Commander T'Lera during their ill-fated observational mission to Earth in 2045. He was also a member of the Vulcan High Council, and would have served as Vulcan's representative if first contact had been deemed appropriate. Selik was consort to T'Syra, the mission's communications officer, and both perished together as the vessel fell into Earth's atmosphere. (TOS novel: Strangers from the Sky)
