In 2376, Ensign Selzner was serving on Deep Space 9 as a communications officer. In April of that year she routed a communication from Charivretha zh'Thane in the offices of the Federation Council, to her chei Thirishar ch'Thane, who was at the time in Quark's. (DS9 novel: Avatar)

In June of the same year, while working in ops, she informed Colonel Kira Nerys of the arrival of the CDS Trager and cleared the Cardassian starship to dock. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Twilight)

In January 2377, she attempted to contact the USS Euphrates, which had been commandeered by Taran'atar. (DS9 novel: Warpath)
