The shakedown log is a log which is kept by the shakedown crew during a starship's inaugral shakedown cruise. Amongst the details kept in the logs were design changes, operational procedures and performance evaluations.

Once the shakedown cruise was completed, the shakedown would be incorporated into the engineering division's master logs. In the year 2372, Lieutenant Sean Hawk wanted to access the USS Enterprise-E's shakedown and master logs while attempting to design modifications to the Enterprise's main deflector.
