Sharet Ras was a female Bajoran vedek.
In 2360, Sharet presided over a meeting of the Vedek Assembly in the Shikina Monastery. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Prylar Bek's message that the Cardassian forces aboard Terok Nor would soon activate a new sensor detection grid, which could allow the Cardassians to locate Kai Opaka and to determine if Opaka should be warned. Due to the crisis, Vedek Sharet did not allow Winn Adami to consult the Orb of Prophecy and Change as Winn had requested, telling her that she felt Winn was not ready for an Orb experience.
