Shavras was a tall Andorian chan or thaan serving in Starfleet in the late 24th century.

In 2375 he was serving on the USS Anansi. When Ezri Dax came aboard for a mission, she thought him to be dangerous-looking. (DS9 short story: "Chiaroscuro")
