The Chawla was a shuttlecraft on board the Einstein. In 2380, Admiral Kathryn Janeway and a science team consisting of Andy Brevoort, Tom Schmidt, and Mark Wacker took the Chawla from the Einstein to a Borg cube in orbit around a moon in Sector 10. Since the Cube assimilated the Einstein and its entire crew, it is reasonable to assume that the Chawla was assimilated as well. (TNG novel: Before Dishonor)
