Sitak was a Vulcan woman who was a rear admiral in Starfleet during the 2370s.

In 2374, Benjamin Sisko and William Ross presented Sitak and Admiral Coburn with their plan to retake Deep Space 9 and stop the Dominion reinforcements from entering the Alpha Quadrant.

Sitak was skeptical, but was convinced when Sisko told her the Bajoran wormhole was the key to stopping the Dominion. (DS9 episode: "Favor the Bold"; DS9 novelization: ...Sacrifice of Angels)

Sitak offered Captain David Gold command of the S.C.E. ship USS da Vinci. (SCE eBook: War Stories, Book 2)

Along with Admiral William Ross and Captain Montgomery Scott, she presided over a Starfleet Tribunal that found Captain Gold was not at fault for the near destruction of the da Vinci. (SCE eBook: Breakdowns)
