The Skedan (designated as Species 4774) are a race of non-aggressive telepaths with a protective ridge of bone on the skull that protrudes down the back. In 2375, they were encountered by the USS Voyager when they telepathically assaulted Seven of Nine as revenge for the near-extinction of the species at the hands of the Borg.
