Slask became friends with Nanietta Bacco when she was Governor of Cestus III, although their friendship was kept a secret. In 2381, Spock met with Slask in a restaurant in Vetruvis on Terix II to ask him to pass on information to President Bacco that Donatra may not have been behind an assassination attempt on his life several months earlier, but had been implicated as being so for some unknown reason. Spock also requested that Bacco send an envoy to meet with Donatra to investigate further. Slask sent Spock's message through another individual. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Rough Beasts of Empire)
In 2383, Slask came to Paris to inform President Bacco that Imperator Sozzerozs and the Gorn Hegemony had no part in the Typhon Pact attack in the Bajor sector that led to the destruction of Deep Space 9.
