Vedek Sloi was a female Bajoran in the 24th century.

In 2370 she worked as director of the Council on Ecological Controls. In that year Benjamin Sisko attempted to persuade her to allow a family of Horta to settle on Bajor, but she was unmoving in her determination they would damage Bajor's ecology. She event went as far as suggesting Sisko should kill the Horta as an alternative solution to his problem of finding them a home.

Sloi was latter persuaded to allow the Horta to stay on Bajor's moon The Prodigal when they discovered valuable mineral deposits there. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
