Snail steaks are a popular meal among the Ferengi. They are served in Quark's on Deep Space 9.
In the Ferengi year 11902, there was a snail steak epidemic on Ferenginar in which many Ferengi died. (DS9 novel: Legends of the Ferengi)
In 2374, Nilva was to have a snail steak with Grand Nagus Zek while they talked about Zek's return to his position, although Nilva was more interested in having them with "Lumba", Quark's female identity. Nilva ordered them lightly seared. (DS9 episode: "Profit and Lace")
