Snail steaks are a popular meal among the Ferengi. They are served in Quark's on Deep Space 9.

In the Ferengi year 11902, there was an epidemic of snail steak food poisoning cases on Ferenginar. This was the first time any other cause of death surpassed vehicular accidents on Ferenginar. (DS9 reference: Legends of the Ferengi)

In 2374, Nilva was to have a snail steak with Grand Nagus Zek while they talked about Zek's return to his position, although Nilva was more interested in having them with "Lumba", Quark's female identity. Nilva ordered them lightly seared. (DS9 episode: "Profit and Lace")
