A soft drink was a type of sweet, flavoured, non-alcoholic, often carbonated beverage common to a number of planets, races and cultures, including Earth and Humans.

A particular Vulcan ship visiting the trading planet of Rigel IV only made a profit after selling every single soft drink on board, but was unable to sell any of its pure neutronium (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge).
