Solis Tendren was a an influential member of the Vedek Assembly on Bajor with the title of Vedek in the 24th century. He was the uncle of religious radical Cerin Mika and became grand-uncle to Mika and Skrain Dukat's daughter Cerin in 2375.

Biography[]

In 2374, Odo had Solis arrested for collecting donations for Bajoran flood victims on Deep Space 9's Promenade without a permit. He was released in less than a hour, although the fact he was arrested annoyed Kira Nerys. (DS9 episode: "Tears of the Prophets")

In 2376, Mika attempted to convince Vedek Yevir Linjarin to rescind the Attainder on Kira Nerys by threatening him with Solis's influence, which could ruin his career. He refused, leading Mika and several others to attack the Assembly itself when negotiations failed. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)

Several months later, the returned Opaka Sulan tried to pursuade Solis to stand as a candidate to become Winn Adami's successor as Kai. (DS9 - Worlds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel: Bajor: Fragments and Omens)

Solis later became a leader of the Ohalavaru. (DS9 novel: The Long Mirage)
