Spock without Kirk[]

Early Voyages alternate timeline

The crew of the USS Enterprise-A in an alternate timeline.

In another alternate timeline created when Yeoman J. Mia Colt was sent forward in time from 2254 to 2293 after her tricorder scans released the tachyon energy contained in an Algolian artifact known as a Keepsake, Spock succeeded Number One as the first officer of the Enterprise, which remained under the command of Captain Christopher Pike until it was decommissioned, after which it became a popular attraction at the San Francisco Smithsonian Museum of Air, Sea and Space. Pike was then placed in command of the USS Enterprise-A while Spock continued as his first officer.

He was killed when Pike activated the Enterprise-A's self-destruct sequence in orbit of Algol II in 2293 after it had been severely damaged by a Klingon bird-of-prey commanded by General Chang and three Klingon battle cruisers. As the Enterprise was destroyed, Colt entered the Well of Tomorrows and was returned to 2254, thereby restoring the proper timeline. (EV comics: "Future Tense", "Futures", "Now and Then")

Spock in an alternate mirror universe[]

In another permutation of events, Spock emerged from the black hole in an alternate version of the mirror universe. Taken prisoner by the counterparts of his old crewmates, Spock was held aboard the Narada as they sought to use his red matter to destroy Vulcan only to be saved by his counterpart. Beaming down to the Vre'katra, Spock tried to have Kirk stand down to no avail, forcing his younger self to kill him. After Uhura had taken the Narada away, Spock remained on Vulcan to help his planet rebuild and secure its place in the Terran Empire. (TOS - Mirrored comic: "Part 2")
