The starbase detected the movement of two D'deridex class Romulan vessels heading toward the location of a space-faring entity (later revealed to be Gomtuu). This information was given to Jean-Luc Picard by Data. (TNG episode: "Tin Man")

No history or fate was established for this starbase as the name was randomly assigned to a playing field station by the game software.
