Starbase 14

Starbase 14 is a Federation starbase located near the planet Styris IV.

In the 2250s, the USS Endeavour was heading for Starbase 14, but failed to arrive and was presumed missing. (TOS comic: "Experiment in Vengeance!")

In the late 23rd century, Starbase 14 was the home of the 13th Pursuit Group of Scorpio-class corvettes. (ST reference: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)

In 2364, Starbase 14 coordinated the response to the outbreak of Anchilles disease that had gripped Styris IV. The base monitored the plague and reported the situation to the USS Enterprise-D, which was attempting to acquire a vaccine for the disease on Ligon II. (TNG episode: "Code of Honor")

In 2368, the starbase was contact point for regular updates from Dr. Marjorie Devarona's archaeological expedition to Rajatha Prime. When the expedition failed to make the scheduled contact the starbase altered the Enterprise-D to investigate. (TNG comic: "Captain's Pleasure")
