Starbase 621

Starbase 621 was a Federation Starfleet starbase.

It is located near the Tzenkethi Coalition and is in close proximity to Tzenketh itself. (ST reference: Star Trek: Star Charts)

In 2368, Elias Vaughn was assigned to Starbase 621 while working for Starfleet Intelligence. Among his duties were the analysis of starship movement along the Tzenkethi border. While he assigned there, he was contacted by Gaten Russol. (TN novel: Dawn of the Eagles)

In 2374, Gul Skrain Dukat's war crime trial was to begin at the Starbase. He was to appear before the Special Jury, which was only a formality, as the actual trial would not be held until after the war. Captain Benjamin Sisko also travelled to Starbase 621, as he was to give evidence to the prosecution.

Dukat never arrived on Starbase 621, as the ship transporting him to it, the USS Honshu, was destroyed by the Cardassians en route. (DS9 episode: "Waltz")
