Starbase 804 was a Federation Starfleet type 7 forward recon starbase on New Titan. Its crew complement was 78, including humans, Vulcans, and a family of Klingon archaeologists. It had 2 runabouts and 6 shuttles.

In 2371 it was assimilated by the Borg as a trap. A special ops team consisting of Sue Weinlein, Jerry Beyer, Krul, Jean-Luc Picard, and Beverly Crusher infiltrated the area from the USS Monitor. (TOS novel: The Return)
