The Starfleet 6th Fleet was a military unit, a fleet group of the Federation Starfleet during the Dominion War. The Dominion made note of the fleet's movements when it was redployed away from the Bolarus system. (DS9 episode: "Penumbra")

ApocryphaEdit

The RPG The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon, published by Last Unicorn Games after they had lost their Star Trek licence, states that in 2374, the 6th was teamed with the 16th Fleet in a defense of Coridan that was only partially successful. At the Third Battle of Vulcanis the 6th Fleet bolstered the defense of borders of Vulcanis system near planet Vulcan, reinforcing the 13th, 31st and 5th Fleets. And that in 2375, the 6th Fleet was moved to the Kalandra sector after the successful retaking of the Verdanis system.
