Steve Chase was a 23rd century Human man, a member of Starfleet who served as crewmember of the Federation starship USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk in the 2260s. In 2268, Chase immediately preceded Pavel Chekov in an alphabetical listing of the crew. (TOS novel: Cloak)
