Stragey was a 23rd century Human man, an officer in Starfleet by the 2260s. By the year 2269, Stragey held the rank of lieutenant and served in security on board the Federation starship USS Enterprise.

Stragey accompanied a landing party with Captain James Kirk, Commander Spock and Doctor Leonard McCoy on Zamphor, which reminded him of Omicron Draconis. With the others they were apprehended by an enraged Quetzecoatl. With the actions of James Kirk, they escaped and passed his trials. (TOS video game: 25th Anniversary)

BackgroundEdit

• Stragey has the role of a typical expendable redshirt, and appears in the episode "The Feathered Serpent". He can be killed or sacrificed when ordered to walk over a swamp, in which case he will be devoured by a swamp creature. However, later Quetzecoatl will mention that he admired his self-sacrifice and that he gave him his life back, transporting him back to the Enterprise.
• Stragey is likely named after Michael W. Stragey, one of the programmers of the game.
• In the CD-ROM version, he is voiced by Kerrigan Mahan.
