Students for Stars for the People (or SSP) was a student organization based at Berkeley University in the mid 23rd century, which called for the repeal of the Prime Directive. As of 2269, it was led by a female Human named Marita Llorente. That year, Spock approached the organization, presenting himself as a fellow believer, though in fact planned to use their notoriety as a means to provide Federation aid to the devastated planet Talin IV.
