A Sub-nagus is a Ferengi official that serves as one of the district managers on the Ferengi homeworld of Ferenginar. These administrative officers often have apprentices that serve them in their duties. (DS9 episode: "Playing God").

It is unknown whether this position is also present on colonies of the Ferengi Alliance or whether it is strictly a homeworld position.
