The Suraktic Method was a style of learning that was pioneered by the Vulcan Surak.

This style of learning involved teaching a person through the use of questions and was noted as being a favourite method used by Surak. (TOS novel: Preserver (novel))

This is an obvious nod to Socrates and his Socratic Method.
