Susan Hyatt was a female Starfleet counselor who, as of 2381, was assigned to the USS Aventine. In the aftermath of the Borg Invasion of 2381, Hyatt struggled to help Ensign Erin Constantino, a Denevan who had lost her entire family during the conflict. Hyatt was finally able to help after Constantino listened to Professor Sonek Pran perform a tragic Earth folk song by Victor Jara. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
