T'Met is a star with an associated star system located in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in the space of the Romulan Star Empire. T'Met is a white star, in the general vicinity of Glintara and Devolin in the Federation-Romulan Neutral Zone. The warbird IRW T'Met was named for this system. (ST reference: Star Charts)

While no further data on the star's system is available, it is known to have inhabitation of some kind. In the reference book Star Charts, the star's name is capitalized, indicating that there is something of note in the system, although this does not specify whether the star had a space station or one or more inhabited planets. In that source, uninhabited star systems were marked by the lowercase.

In January of 2380, Outpost 13 (the closest Federation base) detected weapons fire between three Klingon Karas-class ships and a Romulan D'Deridex-class warbird in this system. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
