For other uses, see T'Nira.

T'Nira was a female Vulcan and reporter who covered the Federation Council for the Federation News Service.

In 2379 T'Nira attended a press conference where Palais de la Concorde Press Liaison Kant Jorel announced the candidates for the special election for the President of the United Federation of Planets. Her question regarding the possible reduction of relief efforts to Cardassia was interrupted for a statement from Admiral William Ross saying that he would not be running for president. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)

T'Nira continued in this role throughout 2380 and into 2381. (ST novels: Articles of the Federation, A Singular Destiny)

This is presumably a different person than Admiral T'Nira, who was mentioned in the DS9 - The Brave and the Bold, Book One novella: The Second Artifact.
