TNC-5527 was a red giant star located within the Minotaur Cluster, outside of Federation territory. The star had once had a system of planets, but they had all been lost in the stars expansion in prehistory. Circa 2270, while aboard the RRV Queen Mary, Hikaru Sulu was able to identify TNC-5527 when the Orion ship stopped nearby to make repairs. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
